Product info:
This analog visual travel fragment captured on 35mm film when I visited the Red & Rose valley of Cappadocia, Turkey in 2018. Truly an impressive piece of volcanic land, gracefully shaped by wind and water. Layers of history unfolding in slow motion. A beautiful place to slow down to the pace of the earth, ground and find stillness while explore the imposing valleys.

My film photography Fine Art prints are printed on demand to avoid waste and are printed on 290gsm Natural Hahnemühle Hemp Fine Art paper with high quality archival inks. Your art prints are guaranteed to last a lifetime without fading or loss of color. Prints come unframed so you can re-use existing frames or select one that fits your style best.

The Fine Art prints include a 1cm white border around the image to allow for future framing and matting. Prints ordered in Europe are printed locally in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Prints ordered in the U.S. are printed in the U.S. to save up on carbon emissions. Prints ordered outside of the EU & U.S. will for now be printed locally in Amsterdam, in time my aim is to have them printed locally wherever they are ordered.

Please note the following: due to variations amongst computer monitors, actual colors may vary slightly from what appears on your screen & the actual image ratio is 2:3, as shown on full photo image, the second photo. Some shown ratio's may differ a bit per used mockup.

Background info:
‘Poetica Natura ‘ is a continuous film photography project, which unfolds an introspective journey through meditative sceneries in search of a deeper connection with the very depths of space, nature and time. An ongoing visual essay captured on 35mm film during solitary travels exploring vast desolate landscapes in search of the quiet and the infinity. The characteristic grain that working with analog film provides gives the imagery a unique tactile feel - it brings the viewer closer to the experience. A visual contemplation exploring layers of history, the origin of life and the forces of the natural world.

I choose Hahnemühle Fine Art paper because Hahnemühle Hemp uses one of the oldest and most diverse natural fibres in the world and is made of 60% hemp fibre. Hahnemühle Hemp is part of The Natural Line, which has a special place in the Hahnemühle Digital FineArt Collection. It focuses on FineArt inkjet papers made from unique raw materials: bamboo, hemp and agave. The plants that provide the cellulose require minimal maintenance, grow quickly and don’t need any pesticides. Their rapid growth means that more cellulose can be produced on the same cropland than with other raw materials, and they also require much less water, helping to save valuable resources and protect the environment. The FineArt paper’s base impresses with its bright white natural tone, and thanks to the bright white colour of the hemp fibres, no optical brighteners are required. The lightly textured surface gives the paper a pleasant, silky feel. The acid- and lignin-free FineArt inkjet paper meets the most exacting requirements for age resistance. Hemp was an essential part of paper production for centuries, and due to its extremely robust fibres, it has often been used for long-lasting historical documents.
